After landing in Australia and going to the outback, or visiting one of the island wildlife reserves, you cannot help but get a strong feeling as if you are in the Avatar movie. Because Australia is an endemic country, everything seems to be not quite from planet Earth…
Ready to fall in love with Singapore? Let’s do it together. From hawker feasts to skyline views, this city’s got surprises around every corner. The sights, bites, and hidden gems of the true Lion City await!

The cultural soup of Hindu and Muslim citizens blinds you, when you make your first steps in Kuala Lumpur Streets. Probably one of the most photogenic cities I have seen – palms touching the sky, and the Petronas towers reaching out to pinch the golden Sun disk.
Ahhhh, Thailand! Or, as it is also called, Thailandia. The land of paradise beaches, mysterious heritage, sex and lechery; the land where scorching sun is seducing you to stay forever in its elephant lands. The land of sunshine; not because it is always sunny, but because the smiles of Thai people light up a sun of your own inside your soul.
From the breathtaking views of the mountainous Sa Pa to the vibrant, kaleidoscopic night life of Ho Chi Minh, this S-shaped country has been one of the most frequent must-see destinations for East Asians, Europeans and Australians. The literal translation is ‘South Viets,’ a term that traces back thousands of years, reflecting the rich history of the southern Vietnamese people.
The Canadian Rockies in Alberta, renowned for their breathtaking scenery, boast towering mountain peaks, pristine glacial lakes, and diverse wildlife. Nippon, or else known to us as Japan, is a culturally isolated country, with solidified traditions and conservative views. The Land of Rising Sun became my home for almost 3 months; starting my journey in Kobe and travelling up north to visit the Hell Valley and general Tokugawa’s grave, then ending down south at Nara, where the ancient breed of deer populate the streets.

ONTARIO & QUEBEC
I live here, in ToroNNNo 🙂 Since I moved to Canada in 2016, I never ever regretted or wanted to come back. And although I do fall for journeys abroad more than local ones, this is my personal bias. Ontario & Montreal have surprised me more than once – it is always astonishing to think how we all expect amazing things somewhere far away while there are true treasures just a couple of hours away.
Locals jokingly call it a Crocodile, due to the island’s resemblance with the animal. Its turquoise waters, scorching sun, and Hispanic “architectural rainbow” cover up the backstage – extreme poverty, lack of basic resources, and constant happy smiles of the Cubans.

Hey earthlings.
I’m Sof, and this is my blog about what I love to do most – travelling. I have swum in the waters of Black Sea, got sun kissed under Mediterranean skies, sang mantras in a Buddhist shrine, and danced salsa under Caribbean stars. In every place I visit, a piece of my heart remains behind. For every corner of the world I’ve explored, this blog becomes a rich and colorful mosaic of all the memories I carry.
So, plz sign up for my newsletter. Otherwise I might think you are an alien.
